Showcasing an elegant design with a white and gold colourway, the Annabel’s x Misela Travel Collection features a range of beautiful products including beach totes, pochettes, clutches and cosmetic cases. Every product is marked by the iconic herringbone pattern of Misela and embroidered with the Annabel’s logo in gold, making it truly unique to this collaboration.
MRS. ALICE × MISELA
MISELA collaborated with London-based designer and fashion editor Alice Naylor-Leyland for a capsule collection of rainbow hued travel companions. Marking the 10th year anniversary of MISELA and the opening of the Mayfair Boutique, the iconic MISELA summer bag is revisited with the colorful and whimsical touch of Mrs. Alice.
TAMARA BECKWITH VERONI × MISELA
MISELA collaborated with Tamara Beckwith Veroni on a timeless and bold collection of handbags consisting of three shapes, one of which is called Tamara. The collection features exotic skins such as eel, ostrich water-snake, lizard skin as well as in calf leather.
Available in two sizes, the Tamara bag was designed with the London woman in mind who circles the city from day to night whilst maintaining style. The top handle bag is a slightly more refined version of a classic day bag and the box bag has been designed for the evening with Grace Kelly as an inspiration. A true statement bag, the Fall/Winter 2019 colours for these styles included gold, silver and shimmering orange as well as saffron, burgundy, navy blue, brown and black.
TOHUM × MISELA
Since 2015, MISELA has been collaborating with jewellery brand Tohum for eclectic collections, bringing together timeless bags and patterns of Misela with the natural accessories of Tohum. Drawing on the unrushed and chic summer style, the collection reflects the spirit of travel shared by Misela and Tohum founders.
Designed meticulously by Serra Türker and Verda Alaton, the latest collection debuted in the summer of 2019. The collection reinterpreted Thalia and Gia bags from the Misela classics and featured Lysa, a brand new design exclusive to this collection, embellished with the natural tassels, mussel shells and sea minarets that reinforce the sense of summer.
TATIANA ALIDA CARRELET × MISELA
MISELA collaborated with London-based illustrator Tatiana Alida Carrelet for a limited-edition collection of notebooks. Featuring three refillable leather-bound notebooks, the ‘Something to Say’ exclusive collaboration reflects the unique design sensibility and eclectic style of both the brand and artist.
Available in two sizes and three colorways, the notebooks pay homage to London and Istanbul — cities of great importance to Misela’s founder and creative director Serra Turker. The collection name is a nod to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s quote, “You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say.”
Building on Misela’s iconic print, each notebook features an original illustration by Carrelet, done in the artist’s signature whimsical style.
SUITCASE MAGAZINE × MISELA
MISELA collaborated with expert travel magazine SUITCASE, designing a collection of classic games; bound in handcrafted canvas cases and trimmed with lambskin leather. Successfully elevating the art of travel entertainment, the collection echoes the passion of discovery: an ethos found at the heart of both brands.
The MISELA x SUITCASE collection includes the Sofya at Anatolia 500-piece jigsaw puzzle depicting scenes from Istanbul, Ezra at Anatolia playing card set, and Alia at Anatolia roll-and-go backgammon set. Playful and elegant, each design is finished with the iconic MISELA chevron print.
IŞIK GÜNER FOR MISELA COLLECTION
MISELA has collaborated with award-winning Turkish botanical artist Işık Güner for a new collection that celebrates blooming nature, native roots and culture while paying homage to cities iconic to Misela.
In tribute to the second Misela flagship in Mayfair, Güner created Rose (2021), a botanical illustration inspired by the roses in the Queen Mother’s Memorial Garden at The Royal Botanical Garden in Edinburgh.
Landing a refreshing touch, the artwork embellishes spirited new designs from the limited-edition canvas collection as well as some of the much-loved Made to Order pieces.
The unique artwork is created with watercolour technique on a large-scale Chinese Rice Paper at the inspiring studio of the artist in Camlhemsin, Northeastern Turkey. The original is exhibited at Misela Mayfair.
TATIANA DE NICOLAY × MISELA
MISELA has partnered with Tatiana de Nicolay for a festive collaboration that brings new life to their iconic Made to Order Collection. This capsule collection, titled “Le Jardin Mystique,” features exquisitely reimagined signature designs that blend exotic influences from East Africa with intricate patterns from Ottoman culture.
Tatiana de Nicolay, a renowned illustrator, designer, and consultant, infuses her works with inspiration from her travels and the diverse cultures she’s encountered. Her distinctive style and creative vision make this collaboration a journey through a mystical garden, celebrating the fusion of art, culture, and design.
TARIK TÖRE FOR MISELA × PILEVNELI
MISELA collaborated with Pilevneli Gallery and Turkish artist Tarik Töre for a limited-edition capsule, featuring six designs from the Belgravia in Canvas and Made to Order Collections. By using symbols of pop culture and fragments/scenes of art history in his works, Töre searches for the structure of the mind and collective memory.
ESRA GÜLMEN × PILEVNELI × MISELA
MISELA has partnered with Pilevneli Gallery and Berlin-based Turkish artist Esra Gülmen to create a limited-edition collection that reflects Gülmen’s unique approach to contemporary art. Known for her playful and ironic interpretations of social codes and human behavior, Gülmen’s designs for this collaboration draw on her distinctive artistic language that challenges conventional ideals in contemporary art.
The collection featured Gülmen’s colorful designs implemented onto Misela bags such as Elena at Anatolia, Noa at Anatolia, Ida at Anatolia, Mona at Anatolia, Lara at Anatolia and Nora at Anatolia.
