FIVE MINUTES WITH

Clementina Zegna

Clementina is an illustrator and water colourist who
grew up in Milan surrounded by colours, textures and
sketchbooks thanks to her fashion-loving family. Her
adventurous spirit has led her to live in Buenos Aires,
Washington, New York, Cape Town and finally
London where she now resides.

MY STYLE ICON IS…
Ralph Lauren, elegance, and adventure together in one look.

THE BEAUTY STAPLE I’M NEVER WITHOUT IS…
Mascara and Sunshine Drops by Drunk Elephant, which I add to my moisturizer to give me that summer glow no matter the season.

IN MY FRIDGE YOU’LL ALWAYS FIND…
Salame cacciatorino and cheese, cheese, and more cheese! Lots of fruit and salad too but those are a little less exciting.

THE GREATEST LOVE OF MY LIFE IS…
Africa and the wildlife there. I never grew up going on safaris and African adventure, but a fortuitous riding safari across the Masai Mara made me fall head over heels in love with it. Since then, I found love in Africa both in meeting my husband-to-be as well as encountering the work of African Parks, a phenomenal African wildlife NGO that I joined as young ambassador. Since then, it has taken me to the most wild and fascinating corners of Africa, from the Congo to Chad and Malawi only to grow my desire to do more for it and to explore.

MY FAVORITE MISELA PIECE IS…
The Bella at Formentera in Taupe. A real bag with all the beach vibes you need.

IN MY BAG YOU’LL ALWAYS FIND:
My Elizabeth Arden lip balm, keys, wallet, sunglasses (I’ve got so many, and most of them are from LGR!) tissues, and of course a colorful mask.

AN OBJECT I WOULD NEVER PART WITH IS…
My watercolor palettes. They are such a small and simple object, from which I can create infinite creative worlds for myself and my clients

THE BEST GIFT FOR A HOSTESS IS…I love to give my Clementina Sketchbook place cards sets and flower bouquets. However, I cannot wait to have a vegetable patch of my own, as I think there is nothing more thoughtful than gifting products from your garden.

ONE BOOK EVERYONE HAS TO READ IS...
Shantaram, by Gregory David Roberts. The best adventure book I have ever read, and actually I still have 20 pages left to read, I couldn’t bear the thought of finishing it and for it to be over.

IF I DIDN’T LIVE IN…. London, I WOULD LIVE IN…. Buenos Aires.
